From your Department Commander Edward A.Beckstein

Thanks to all that had anything to do with my installation. It was a moving experience and I hope I will learn something in the two years coming up.

Thanks for sharing my banquet with me and listening to my family entertain you. They really appreciated everyone and scared Cody, once got started, he did not want to quit.

My program: emblem is chickadee- colors are black, purple, and gold- flower is faced pansy- songs are "Make me a Blessing' and "Family of God"- Motto is " God did not make a mountain you could not climb"- and my project is the Department Council General Fund.

Work with me and we will tough it out in the days to come.

The Cantons of Lansing and Ann Arbor will be consolidated on the 16th of June at Hamburg at 7pm with summer dress uniform.

We have been asked to be at the Home Memorial on 26th of June. We will be in full dress and closer to the date if the weather so deems it we may change.

Honor your fighting men and women, whether they are overseas or as a memorial. They fought and are fighting so that we may be free.

Any questions e-mail me at ebecks.med.umich.edu or call 313-618-0628.
