New Michigan Odd Fellows
January 24, 2009 in Lapeer. Lapeer hosted a very successful all degree day. These 10 candidates became Odd Fellows. 11 were initiated, but one arrived just after the picture was taken. Put your cursor on the photo to see number 11.

11 became Odd Fellows. 19 received the first degree. 21 had the second and third degree conferred on them. A great meal was enjoyed and over 85 people enjoyed the day.
Congratulations to the new members and thanks to Lapeer and all who made the day a success.

If you want to subscribe to the IOOF or Michigan IOOF email lists, see below. Email lists are actually called list servers. Everyone on the list gets a copy of every message sent to the list. If you reply to the list, everyone gets the reply too.
The Michigan IOOF list is a low volume list. It is used mostly for "sickness and distress" infomation, or for questions about lodges in Michigan (past or present). On Oct 31 2006 there were 126 members.
The IOOF list is an international list with about 430 members. Many topics are covered in this list concerning Odd Fellowship. Some past topics include Women in Odd Fellows, Alcohol in Lodges, Membership issues (how to get them and keep them), and many others.
