Shirley Marie (Culver) McLellan, 82, and a 60 year resident of Berkley, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007. She was a Past Noble Grand of Harland Rebekah Lodge 395 and Edgewood Rebekah Lodge 290 and Past Chief Matriarch of Berkley Ladies Encampment Auxiliary #9. She received the highest honor a female member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows can give, the Decoration of Chivalry, which is awarded to those who give a lot back to their community.
