We had a great camp board meeting in Clare, there were 6 board members, Both the Grand Master & Assembly President, Camp Director, and several guests...there  were 18 present.

Clare Lodge hosted the meeting and served doughnuts and coffee in the morning, and then made Lunch!!!  We had a really great committee report from Bob Kowalski which we want to review further next meeting, and an interesting report from Treasurer Terry Messmer.  There was a decision made to go ahead with the food program this year, made easier by a purchase of a cooler  for milk.  Viola Lodge #259 of Cadillac had some suggestions for the camp for both improvements and some interesting fundraiser ideas, they also donated two apartment size stoves to the camp, and we bought the cooler through them.   We also decided that we would send out a letter to the lodges asking them to find in their community families who have a parent serving overseas, or who have lost a parent overseas, we would like to (do something special for them) .  These are just some of the highlights....read your minutes at your lodge meeting to get all the details!

Next meeting will be Feb 9, 2008 at 10:00 in Maple Rapids, Terry Messmer's Lodge!  That ought to be fun, so we'll see you there!!
